OUR MISSION
Sherborne Voluntary Ambulance is a community transport charity based in Sherborne, Dorset. You may also know it as The Big Red Bus! We strive to ensure those who otherwise couldn't, can still be active in Sherborne and our wider area.
We coordinate shopping, leisure, and cultural trips for local organisations. We're a friendly bunch who work hard to make Sherborne an inclusive, accessible community. That being said, if you would like to support us, please consider donating or getting involved in one of our many events, administration or driving posts.

In need of a new driver/manager
The Sherborne Voluntary Ambulance is seeking somebody to take on the role of driver/manager from January 2026 as the long-standing local legend John steps down after distinguished service
If you are an excellent driver with a friendly and positive personality who may like to help those a bit less mobile in our community to stretch their wings, please get in touch.
